The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking Anesthesiologists interested in both clinical care and teaching at Tulane University Medical School. The physician would practice at both/East Jefferson General Hospital and Tulane Lakeside Hospital, depending on sub-specialty.

The Department of Anesthesiology is particularly seeking fellowship-trained cardiac anesthesiologists to support the continued growth and advancement of our cardiac anesthesia services. The ideal candidate will have specialized expertise in the perioperative management of patients undergoing complex cardiac procedures, including proficiency in transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). This individual will play a key role in delivering high-quality clinical care, contributing to multidisciplinary cardiac teams, and supporting the department’s educational mission through teaching and mentorship of residents and medical students. Candidates without fellowship might be considered providing their experience and TEE matched the Departmental needs.
