The University of Florida Department of Anesthesiology, Division of Neuroanesthesiology, is seeking neuroanesthesia-trained anesthesiologists to join our esteemed team, situated in the sunny and vibrant city of Gainesville, FL.
The Opportunity
The neuroanesthesia division boasts a boasts a vibrant, growing academic practice which includes a fellowship program. Our neuro anesthesiologists work closely with neuromedicine and neurosurgical surgical specialists in a collegial environment that fosters collaboration.
The Department of Anesthesiology comprises:
- 90+ faculty anesthesiologists
- 9 active research faculty
- 88 residents
- 25 fellows
- 75 CRNA/CAAs
- 40+ dedicated support and administrative staff

- Coverage for 67 operating rooms
- Coverage for 16 NORA locations
- 60,000+ anesthesia cases performed a year
- Publish an average of 130+ peer-reviewed publications per year

Minimum Requirements:
- M.D./D.O. or equivalent
- Neuroanesthesia experience
- Skills in clinical care, research, and/or education
- ABA certification/eligibility
- Credentials to obtain a State of Florida physician's license
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong clinical skills
- Dedication to patient care
- Passion for advancing the field of anesthesiology through research and scholarly activities
