Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates (CAA), a private practice anesthesiology group at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist to join our collegial and highly regarded team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, a Mass General Brigham affiliate located just outside of Boston. This role includes participation in the call schedule and a wide variety of clinical cases with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program
- Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
- Current or eligible Massachusetts medical license, along with DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Strong clinical proficiency across a broad range of cases including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, and obstetric anesthesia
- Ability and willingness to sit your own cases 70–80% of the time while also supervising CRNAs in a collaborative care model
- Dedication to safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care in alignment with Newton-Wellesley Hospital and CAA standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a respectful, collegial approach to surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia colleagues
- Commitment to shared responsibility and fair call participation within a balanced, supportive schedule
