Faculty Intensivist PositionWe are seeking to recruit outstanding intensivists for the Cardiothoracic ICU & newly created Cardiovascular ICU at Mount Sinai Hospital. Candidates are expected to be superb collaborators, dedicated to excellence in patient care, quality outcomes, and who have a passion aligned with our academic mission. This position will include an academic appointment in the Institute for Critical Care Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai as well as an academic appointment in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative and Pain Medicine, Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Department of Surgery or Department of Cardiology depending on the applicants primary specialty. Experience with critically ill cardiac and cardiothoracic patients is preferred. Candidates will be expected to be proficient with standard intensive care procedures (central lines, S-G catheter placement etc).Candidates should be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine.
