Ochsner Health System in New Orleans is searching for a BC/BE FELLOWSHIP-TRAINED PEDIATRIC ANESTHESIOLOGIST to join our team of seven pediatric anesthesiology faculty at Ochsner’s flagship hospital. Our pediatric anesthesia practice includes all subspecialties and spans the spectrum from healthy outpatients to complex neonatal surgery. Located on the campus of Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, our 103-bed children’s hospital offers a 54 bed Level III-C NICU and 14 bed PICU and brand new CV-ICU.
Ochsner Health System Department of Anesthesiology includes over 60 Anesthesiologists, 79 CRNA’s, and 45 residents and fellows, with an annual case volume of >40,000. We support a fully accredited (4-year cycle) anesthesiology residency program in addition to several fellowships. All faculty actively participate in teaching and clinical care; many take advantage of opportunities in clinical investigation and professional service. We emphasize mentorship and professional development which are a priority at Ochsner.
