Richmond, Virginia anesthesia group is seeking a BC/BE anesthesiologist. With fellowship training in cardiac anesthesia & TEE expertise. Our anesthesia group operates at two hospitals both with high levels of acuity. Cardiac cases total approximately 600/year and consist of on-and-off pump coronary cases, valve cases, robotic and ventricular assist devices. We also have strong representation in general surgery, bariatric, ENT, urology, vascular, orthopedic (adult & pediatric), GYN, L&D, spine neurosurgery, pediatric, and plastic surgery. We maintain a busy regional anesthesia practice with an acute pain service. Work involves both cardiac & all other surgical specialties. The group consists of 15 anesthesiologists and over 40 CRNAs that function in a care team model. VA license is a plus, but not necessary in order to apply.
