American Anesthesiology of Virginia is offering an exceptional employment opportunity for a full-time position, with or without call, for either a general or cardiac-trained anesthesiologist to join our growing group practice in beautiful, historic Fredericksburg, VA. We are the exclusive physician anesthesia services provider for Mary Washington Healthcare and provide services at Mary Washington Hospital, Stafford Hospital and Fredericksburg Ambulatory Surgery Center.

We offer a variety of anesthetic cases including; cardiac, neuro, thoracic, peds, ortho, vascular, OBGYN, trauma, general surgery, podiatry, urology and regional. Subspecialty training in cardiothoracic, Obstetrics and Nuero anesthesia is welcomed, but not required
The practice currently performs 300-350 cardiac cases each year
The practice consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 52 CRNAs who work together in a care team model
Overnight call is required and second call varies if the individual is hired for the call taking position
