The VP Operations is responsible for various executive responsibilities. At its core, the role will lead the strategic and operational integration of Premier Anesthesia practices, assigned. The position will be responsible for achieving operational quality and financial performance metrics for assigned practices. Additionally the position is responsible for ensuring the integrity of Premier’s business and operational policies/procedures and processes. The VP will function as the administrative liaison between the client and Premier Corporate. The VP Operations will guide and direct the design and implementation of organization, process and infrastructure for profitable and sustainable growth of Premier Anesthesia.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
P&L performance management, practice operations and strategic planning. Effectively understand and manage regional financial results and modify operational strategies accordingly to meet business demands.
As part of the senior leadership team, tasked with integrating all clinical and operational aspects of PA practices.
Develop and lead a team of Regional Directors of Operations (DOs) who report directly to this position. RDOs have responsibilities for the operations and practice growth in their assigned geographies/markets and the RVP is responsible for ensuring the RDOs achieve their market objectives.
Works closely with Regional Medical Directors and Regional Directors of Operations with the establishment of governance and supporting structure and processes for all PA practices.
Manage budget & general operational responsibilities to include staff management. Supports, design and implementation of organizational policies and practices, including short and long term structures, roles, and staffing.
Defines and aligns key functions, roles, and effectiveness and efficiency measures for tracking and success.
Drives change management projects.
Develops plans and coordinates all activities for board meetings and related governance activities.
Key resource in planning and supporting alignment, engagement and integration initiatives.
Coordinates process improvement projects, including workflow redesign.
Consistently contributes to development of infrastructure through leadership of specific development initiatives
Successfully leads and manages the Analytics and Benchmarking from strategic planning to tactical execution.
Develops, drives and coordinates complex product priorities in a fast-paced environment
Defines, monitors, and validates KPIs for operational efficiency and performance
Experience managing anesthesia operations.
Thorough understanding and knowledge of operational planning.
Ten (10) years of progressive experience in change management including systems
Strong management and organizational design skills.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Solid interpersonal and management abilities.
Ability to change organizational structures to enhance business profitability
Additional Salary Information: Salary commensurate with experience. Base salary plus Bonus
