We are seeking a BC anesthesiologist, experience preferred, with TEE certification and fellowship training in cardiac anesthesia to join our team in Lawrenceville, GA.
American Anesthesiology of Georgia (AAG) provides a full array of anesthesia services at Gwinnett Medical Center-Lawrenceville, Gwinnett Women's Pavilion, Gwinnett Medical Center – Duluth, Johns Creek Orthopedic Surgery Center, as well as several free-standing outpatient and pain facilities.
Our practice provides anesthesia services for the following specialties: General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Cardiac Surgery, Thoracic, OB, Urology, Vascular, Trauma, ENT, Ortho, Gynecology, Gastroenterology and Electrophysiology. No Acute Pain service. Cardiac Surgery volume is approximately 400 cases per year, including valves, minimally invasive cases, and catheter-based interventions. No transplants or VADs.
Our team consists of 25 anesthesiologists, 62 anesthetists including AAs and CRNAs. We work together in a team care model.
This position will include cardiac call responsibility from home, split between 3 cardiac anesthesiologists. In-house call for trauma and OB averages 1 night every other month. Cardiac call-in cases occur approximately once per month.
