The Department of Anesthesiology at Thomas Jefferson University & Hospital is seeking board eligible/certified faculty to join the liver transplantation team.
On 5/31/84 our team performed the first liver transplant at Jefferson, the first one in the Delaware Valley, followed by approximately 1,000 procedures performed up to date. The excellent interdisciplinary relationship among all team members awarded the Liver Transplant Team the Dean’s Citation for the first Faculty Team Achievement Award at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, and Thomas Jefferson University.

Candidates should have excellent clinical skills and completed a liver transplant anesthesia fellowship or have significant clinical experience with liver transplantation.
